Nearly 70% of all private sector employment comes from small and medium sized businesses, according to the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills, and small businesses accounted for 99.3% of all private sector firms at the start of 2016.
We know too that it’s not easy running a business of this size. The challenges are real and significant, and one of the biggest is that of finding the right people. If you’re running a firm of fewer than ten people, then every single individual has to pull their weight. Finding the perfect fit for a particular role can have a huge impact on the business’ growth and success.
